How long does it take to set up my account?
Once you place your order and payment is verified, You will receive a welcome email with all of your login and nameserver information within 60 minutes. If you experience a delay, you can obtain order status information by emailing billing@invisiontech.net.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, wire transfer, or mailed money order. If you are paying with a money order, your account setup cannot be completed until we receive payment.
Do you offer windows based solutions?
At this time, we only offer linux based hosting solutions. If you require a windows based solution, we can accomodate this requirement, but only in the form of a dedicated server. Currently, we do not provide support for windows, but we are planning on adding windows based solutions and support in the near future.
Does InvisionTech offer domain registrations?
We sure do! You can purchase these yourself through our domain sales website at http://invisiondomains.com, or we can purchase and manage your domain for you. If you would prefer we purchase your domain, but you would like to manage it, we can transfer the domain to your own account after we purchase it for you.
What happens if I reach my bandwidth limit for the month?
We usually give you a small allowance of overage on your monthly bandwidth. You will receive an email when you reach 80% of your monthly bandwidth allotment. Should you reach 100% of your monthly limit, we will allocate a small amount more to get you through to the next month or until you can make arrangements with us to add more bandwidth to your plan.
One of our staff will email you when you reach 100% and after we have allocated more bandwidth to you. It is your choice whether you would like to add more bandwidth or have the site shut down for the remainder of the month. You will experience no data loss from having your site shut down. All data that was on your account at the time of shutdown will still be there when your account is re-enabled.
What if I need SSH access on my account?
We do allow a jailed SSH access to your account. What this means is you can only use SSH to run commands or work only within your account.
To have SSH enabled, you only need submit a SSH Request ticket at http://support.invisiontech.net.
We do verify your ownership of the account before we enable SSH access, so you will be asked for some billing details.
Do you allow IRC to be installed on your servers?
We do allow IRC to be set up if you have a dedicated server. You are restricted to the use of IRC as a private communication system, you are not permitted to connect to public IRC networks or servers with your own IRC setup.
Do you offer PHP 5?
We sure do! In fact, you have a choice between PHP 4 and PHP 5 on all of our older servers. All of our newly deployed servers come standard with PHP 5 as the main PHP processor. If you need to use PHP 5, just add this line to your .htaccess file:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

This will affect the directory and all sub-directories where you place it. So if you place this line in your /public_html/.htaccess, it will affect your entire account. If you place it in /public_html/level2/.htaccess, it will affect only files and subdirectories of the level2 folder.
